Orders to countries outside the EU may be subject to import taxes and/or duties, which are applied when your package reaches your country.  Your order is shipped on a DDU (delivery duty unpaid) basis.  We are unable to estimate the amount of duties and taxes your package will incur as these are imposed directly by your local country customs.  Payment of these is necessary to release your order from customs.  For more information contact your local country customs office.

If the purchaser supplies an incorrect delivery address and the order is returned to us the delivery costs will not be refunded to the purchaser.

How Will My Parcel Be Delivered?

Your parcel will either be delivered by courier or recorded/signed for Royal Mail (refer to the table above). 

We use trusted and secure courier services.  Where your delivery is by a courier offering a delivery time window, the courier will advise a delivery time window using your valid mobile number or email address.  So that an SMS or email can be sent to arrange this convenient window, you must enter a valid mobile number or email address during checkout or we will not be able to offer this service.  If the delivery time window offered by the courier is unsuitable you will be asked to specify an alternative time to the courier.

UK First Class Royal Mail Recorded delivery is a secure service that requires a signature on delivery and is tracked within the UK.

International Royal Mail Signed For delivery is a secure delivery service that requires a signature on delivery and is tracked to leaving the UK.

Free Delivery Promotion – UK only

When buying 2 or more pairs of shoes, Propia Scarpa offers free delivery to UK mainland addresses using First Class Royal Mail Recorded Delivery service.  For this service we aim to deliver the majority of your items within 1 working day.  This promotion does not apply to delivery addresses outside the United Kingdom.

Returns

In the event that you are not completely satisfied with your order, we will be happy to offer you a full refund.

However, to benefit from this policy, in all cases:-

  1. Item(s) must be returned in a new unworn  re-saleable condition with all packaging and tags attached.  We cannot accept any used items and any such items will be returned to the purchaser.  If a customer returns any item which is not re-saleable the customer will be responsible for all the costs incurred in returning the items.
  2. Goods must be returned with proof of postage.  We cannot be responsible for items lost in the post without proof of postage.
  3. Unsuitable items will only be refunded within 14 days of receipt.  Returns received after the 14 day time frame will only be accepted at the discretion of Propia Scarpa.  All correctly returned items will only be credited to the card or account from which the original purchase was made, less any customs taxes or import duties incurred in delivery.  We are unable to refund any custom duties or taxes applied by authorities outside the EU.  You may be able to recover those by contacting your local customs office directly.

How to Return an Item

  1. When returning an item please indicate your reason for returning it, stating whether it is for refund or exchange.
  2. If you require an exchange, please state the size required.
  3. If returning goods from outside the EU it is important to state on the parcel: “MAIL ORDER GOODS RETURNED TO SUPPLIER” to avoid customs duty and delay in processing the return request.

Cancelling your Order under the EU Distance Selling Regulations (DSRs)

If you are based in the EU, under the Consumer Protection (Distance Selling) Regulations 2000 (DSRs), you have the right to cancel your order with us, provided you give us written notice (including email) within seven working days of receipt.

You must notify Propia Scarpa in writing of your wish to cancel the contract for your entire order under the DSRs within seven working days of receiving your items.  Either write to us at Propia Scarpa, PO Box 68539, London, SW15 9FH, United Kingdom, or email us at info@propiascarpa.com.

Please follow the instructions on HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM above.  All goods must be returned to us unused, in their original packaging and from the country that the order was delivered to.  We will refund you the full value of your order, including shipping costs, within 30 days of receiving your notice of contract cancellation.  If we do not receive the cancelled order, we will not be able to process a refund.

Return of Faulty, Incorrect or Sub-Standard Goods

Please follow the instructions on HOW TO RETURN AN ITEM above.  However, if the products you return are faulty, incorrect, or damaged in transit to you, we will refund the cost of your return postage, as well as the goods and your original postage charge provided there is no evidence of the goods being damaged after delivery.

We are unable to refund any custom duties or taxes applied by authorities outside the EU.  You may be able to recover those by contacting your local customs office directly.
